Operation

The Stone Rake has 94 tempered tines operating in a 4.0m working width to a depth of up to 10cm. Working at a speed between 3 -5 km/hr, it forms stone into rows that can be easily picked up by the Stone Picker.  When used in conjunction with the stone picker, where stone is moderate and widespread, it reduces the time taken to remove the stone.

The rake can also gather stone from the surface of pasture or un-worked ground.

e.g. We have recently removed widespread stone from a well established Lucerne crop, with minimal effect to the Lucerne, to reduce the costly replacement of mower blades and reduce wear and tear during baling.
